The
Fruit of Life expands into a form known as Metatron's Cube, which forms
the skeletal framework for all 5 platonic solids in one form: The Tetrahedron,
the Octahedron, the Hexahedron/Cube, the Icosahedron, and the Dodecahedron,
all super-imposed on top of each other.
These
forms were made famous by Plato, hence their name, the Platonic Solids,
but their discovery predates Plato by thousands of years. Each of the
5 solids corresponds to one of the five elements that combine to create
the universe. The Tetrahedron represents Fire, the Cube represents Earth,
the Octahedron is the symbol for Air, the Icosahedron represents water,
and finally, the Dodecahedron symbolises Prana or Ether, the mysterious
fifth element that holds everything together.
The
Platonic solids are the only 3D forms that divide the surface of a sphere
into equal, identical sections that have equal edges interior angles.
There are only five ways to do this. These forms are recognised as the
archetype atomic bonding patterns that create physical reality at molecular
level: The Flower has manifested the physical fruits of creation!

This
image incorporates 3 archetype patterns in Sacred Geometry, the Seed
of Life, the Flower of Life and the Fruit of Life. The Seed grows
the Flower, and the Flower grows the Fruit. Ros discusses these forms
in great detail in the workshops, and more information will be available
on this website soon. |

The
Seed of Life is known as the Genesis pattern because it carries
the seed of creation. The seed is the pattern of 6 circles intersecting
a central circle, 7 circles in all. This creates the pivotal image
of the six-petalled flower. This pattern is also known as the "Genesis"
pattern, not only because it generates the flower and ultimately
the fruits of creation, but also because it is also synonymous with
the biblical story of creation, where god took 6 days to create
the universe and had one day of rest. In this analogy, the central
circle represents God, the Source, or the Monad: the point of consciousness
that exists within a void of unlimited potential and complete perfection.
The hexad was considered by all nations a sacred number, because
the world was created in six days.
Every
flower grows from a seed, and all flowers grow fruits, that in turn
contain seeds. The cycle of Seed, Flower, Fruit underpins all organic
life forms and growth cycles. It is the cyclic rhythm of life itself.
The
flower of life is the energy archetype that generates the cycle
of life and holds in form the mathematical ratios that allow life
to appear, grow and replicate. The flower of life is the vibrational
image of the living light, the pattern made by the word of God in
the beginning.
I
call it the "blueprint for creation" because it holds in form the
vibratory frequencies needed to structure creation, building the
foundations for physical and non-physical reality to exist. It works
on the left-brain by presenting a logical framework on which to
build it's understanding, which is what the left-brain needs. It
has to have a structure to unite all the details that it is so fond
of separating.

Focusing
on this mandala aligns the viewer with the energies that created the blueprint
for creation, opening up creativity and the realisation that anything
is possible with intent.
