6 & 12: Divine Reality

Turquoise is the colour of the CHRIST chakra, an ancient chakra that is finally re-awakening in the quickening of our times. This is the energy centre that promotes and radiates UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, which forms the foundation for all the teachings of light. 12 is here to express Unconditional Love, so the Blue with Turquoise expresses this energy.

The higher mental chakras are various shades of purple: the 3rd Eye chakra is indigo/violet and the Crown chakra is violet/magenta/white. Purple/Violet reflects this vibration of regality and attainment, at one time people were forbidden to weave purple cloth for public use, this high-frequency colour belonged directly to royalty, and anyone found doing so was put to death.

Golden yellow is the colour of the sun, and of strength and intelligence. This colour energy helps us broaden our horizons with new ideas and possibilities.

Rudolph Steiner tells us that in the Northern Mysteries, 12 servers were required by the Initiator, to surrender their forces to the would-be Initiate, to help her or him enter into the spiritual realms. The 12 appears frequently in myths, legends and fairy tales, again indicating the 12-fold division of the zodiac.

The vibration of 12/3 evokes idealism, and encourages us to spend time thinking deeply and philiosophising about the nature of reality and how the world could be, should be. 12/3 also encourages us to communicate, express and share the gifts of the intuition and expansive imagination. The 12th Card in the Tarot is the HANGED MAN. The Hanged Man hangs upside-down in a tree, with his viewpoint directed to the heavens. People laugh at him and ridicule him because it appears to them that he is crazy - he sees everything upside down, in reversal. Reversal is the keyword for the symbolism of this card, because in actual fact, the hanged man, by tuning into the spiritual, cosmic laws of the universe, is the one who can perceive the true reality. It is the others who are crazy; believing in the illusory reflection that is physical, material reality, and believing that this is the only reality there is. But the hanged man doesn't mind people laughing at him. He doesn't judge. He's happy to let people believe what they like. He is peaceful and serene because he has reversed his perceptions and can perceive the true, divine reality with clarity. This mandala is designed to do just that.

Indigo expresses the frequency of the Pineal gland, which controls the central nervous system as well as our intuitive and psychic potentials. This frequency broadens the bandwidth of perceptual ability and frees the mind of fears that are more often than not generated by ignorance.

Green is the colour of balance and harmony, it reflects the soothing frequency of Mother Nature, and it is also the colour of the Heart Chakra, which being the 4th chakra, lies at the centre of the 7 chakra system, joining the lower and higher charkas, and balancing the whole human energy system. 6's resonate with the calm and peace of the natural world, and on their philosophical path they will come to realize that compassion, the energy that radiates from the Heart chakra, is the key to understanding.
